Last weekend (Sunday 26th and Monday 27th August) saw the return of the Classic Car Show to the wonderful grounds of Knebworth Park, albeit a soggy start to the weekend, classic car enthusiasts still came out to view some of the wonderful vintage cars on display. Martha Lytton Cobbold, managing director of Knebworth House said: “There was a great variety of amazing cars on display, accessories and parts too in the autojumble stalls. We are thrilled to mark the 28th anniversary of the Classic Motor Show at Knebworth.”

Rain did little to dampen the enthusiasm of those involved over the weekend Stephen Smith from Gemini Events, the show organiser, said: “We’re thrilled to be back for our 28th year and look are excited to have lots of new clubs and private owners alongside our regular visitors.”

Sponsored by ClassicLine Insurance, around 25 motoring clubs attended with their members including the Classic Z Register, which is celebrating its 30th Anniversary and who showcased the 240Z, 260Z and 280Z models, including the Fairlady.

Alongside the Classic Cars show was the third annual Hertfordshire Motor Show organised by Archant, exhibitors Glyn Hopkins, S&B Commercials, Steven Eagell, Cabriolet Coupe and Marshalls Knebworth were on hand displaying a wonderful selection of new vehicles for visitors to enjoy. Stephen added: “we’re delighted that the Herts Motor Show is joining us for the third year running as it is a great opportunity to see motoring history alongside the future of motoring.”
